Bright quenching oils are low-evaporation and ageing stable. Normal speed quenching oils with relatively low cooling speed. Quenching behaviour is principally governed by the viscosity of the quenching oil. Bright quenching oils are mostly used for the hardening of tool steels and warp-prone components. Suitable for use in both open and closed quenching lines.
