Fire Resistant Hydraulic Oil

Fire resistant hydraulic fluids have been developed for mining, die-casting, steel mill, aluminum plants and aviation applications. These fluids have significantly higher temperatures or fire-resistant properties and thus afford better fire protection than mineral oils. Conventional mineral hydraulic oils will readily ignite if sprayed under pressure from a fractured hydraulic pipe or hose. HFC: Water-based monomer and polymer solutions (polyglycol based)

HFD (HFDR/ HFDU): Water-free fluids
